Cheryl Mussato has more than 35 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian working in a variety of settings from hospital, medical clinics, health departments, long-term care facilities, adjunct professor at a community college, and as a freelance health and nutrition writer.

Cheryl has a master’s degree in dietetics and nutrition from the University of Kansas, and a bachelor’s degree in dietetics and institutional management from Kansas State University. Her specialties include nutrition counseling for weight control, high blood pressure/cholesterol, pregnancy, breastfeeding, infant and childhood feeding, and healthy eating for lifestyle changes for all ages.

She is a clinical dietitian for local clinics, and a freelance health and nutrition writer.
